Nice work! Do you have plans to track whether you're meeting the net zero goals? We live in Common Ground on Lopez Island -- also solar (PV + domestic hot water), passive solar architecture community land trust home. We've found 4 out 11 households were able to meet net zero goal so far (2 years now).

One hair drier to heat the house is not a good example average hair dryer is 1600W on high.
According to passive house standards the heating dose not need to exceed 15 kWh/m² per year guess the house is about 120m² so total energy / year for the house need to be 1800kWh
But maybe there is a mild climate there and is fine.
Glad to see someone is building this houses it looks quite similar in design with the one I build some time ago.

Beautiful house; the passive house standard is definitely the way of the future. Did you use any polyurethane in the home's insulation? We're currently building a passive house in Brussels, Belgium to showcase the benefit of polyurethanes in energy efficient housing.

I thought heat load was the amount of heat delivered from all sources in the house, for example people, appliances, etc. and thus the smaller the heat load, the less energy needed to COOL the house.
Here he is talking about the heat load being small, so there is less energy needed to HEAT the house. Can someone explain this to me?

Mesmerizing Architecture! Truly a hopeful vision for humanity. I want to experience the "living structure-art". Terra Homage feels as if it is the natural evolution of "Broad Acre City". Does James H. Klippel have a book out on his organic architecture?

They are just building into the landscape it is philosophically and metaphysically very shallow. The earth is only connected to our consciousness through sensory phenomena and our conscious and subconscious interpretations of that. I developed architectures based on deleuzian materialism where you actually interpret architecture as you would the natural world, the architecture is far far better than this cheap sci-fi idea.

Dear Shadapoga,
Intellectual and philosophical debate are a healthy means of furthering and advancing human thought. Your comments suggest you are capable of neither. Why overtly berate organic architecture, which grows from the spirit of mankind and life yet uphold Deleuzin, (spelled capitol "D"), which ignores the soul and places the material world above God? As I see no architecuture of yours and only shallow nonconstructive statements, I suggest you are the "shallow" one.
